Press for pending demands

Members of the Joint Action Committee of Teachers’ Organizations (JATCO-AP) will organize dharnas and rallies in the city on January 4 to press for pending demands.

The steering committee member of JATCO N. Subba Rao said that the Government had failed to implement the GOs 95 and 96 by which the President of India had categorized teachers’ posts locally, implementation of common service rules for tribal welfare and municipal teachers, granting of increments to apprentice teachers in proper scale and other issues. He said that the rally would be taken out from RTC complex to Collectorate through the main thoroughfares.
