Commerce Federation seeks Professional status

The 59th All India Commerce Conference on Saturday passed ‘Vizag Declaration’ and the ICA delegates vowed to strive to get professional course status to get professional status on the lines of engineering, management and medical professionals.

The participants opined that the commerce education is not getting its due recognition and thee is a need for it to be conferred professional status. Andhra University Vice Chancellor L. Venugopal Reddy and ICA president MB Shukla disclosed the resolutions made during the conference to the media. The ICA will prepare a regulatory, promotional and participatory framework to play a vital role in the education system in the country. The Minister of State for HRD D. Purandeswari promised her full cooperation for promotion of commerce education.
