Bank employees to push forward their demands
The All India Bank Workers' and Officers' organization with a work force of 70,000 employees will observe December 20 as Demands Day. Thousands of workers will participate in a demonstration before the Parliament in support of their demands, which include the removal of wage anomalies after consolidation of 96 Grameena banks into 102 banks, payment of wages at par with the established nationalized banks, extension of pension facility and compassionate appointments to the members of the deceased employees.
