Prof.Ramana inaugurates the programme

The former Vice Chancellor of Andhra University (AU) Prof.KV Ramana inaugurating the National Service Scheme (NSS) 77th orientation programme for NSS officers said that it acts as a bridge between higher education and local communities . Speaking on the occasion he said that the spirit of voluntary activity should be the guiding force for the NSS organization.

He stressed the need for professional training and scientific order to deliver the good not only in NSS but other spheres of social service. He insisted on ways and means to utilize the human potential completely in human service.

NSS Assistant Programme Advisor K.Rajendran suggested to the NSS officers to put the training inputs to good use to achieve the desired results. AU extension services director B Vijaya Lakshmi, programme coordinator T.Sobhasri, training coordinator RD Sampath Kumar and others participated in the function.
