Says University did not follow protocol

Former Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University Prof. YC Simhadri has refused to receive the felicitation from the Andhra University which is celebrating its 80th University Formation Day. Prof. Simhadri in his letter to the present Vice Chancellor Prof. Venugopal Reddy said that the University did not follow the protocol and has not even taken his oral consent as a courtesy but his name was featured on the invitation cards.

The University has earlier decided to felicitate five of its former Vice-Chancellors on the eve of the University formation day. The former five Vice-Chancellors are Koneru Ranga Rao, Maddi Gopalakrishna Reddy, KV Ramana, R Radhakrisna and Prof. YC Simhadri.
