Visakhapatnam, April 26, 2006

Assessment to confer CII-HR Excellence Award

A team from the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) visited the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) to assess various human resource practices of the steel plant. The team consisted of Brigadier (Retired) KS Bhoon, Director, Management Development Center, Ashok Leyland, Bangalore, M Trinath, Head-Human Resources, Coromandel Fertilizers and MS Micheal Raj, Senior Executive, BHEL, Trichy. The team is accessing various aspects related to human resources to confederate the CII-HR Excellence Award.

The Personnel Department gave a corporate presentation themed Human Resources Management. Director - Personnel, KA Naidu introduced senior officials of the plant to the accessors. The CII team later met Chairman and Managing Director Y Siva Sagar Rao.
