Visakhapatnam, September 5 2005
A Veda Sabha will be organized on the evening of September 15 to mark the conclusion of the nine day Vinayaka Chaturthi celebrations at Sri Sampat Vinayagar temple, near Aseelmetta junction. Sadguru K.Sivananda Murty of Anandavanam in Bheemunipatnam would be chief guest for the Veda Sabha which will be presided over by K.Ramasuryanaryana, Professor at Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapet of Tirupati. The celebrations begin on Tuesday and there will be daily homams, abhishekams, vedaparayanam and other rituals in the mornings and discourses during evenings. Apart from this, the idol would be decorated specially every day during the celebrations to depict Sri Sampath Vinayagar, Bala Ganapati, Skanda Ganapati, Siddhi Buddi Ganapati, Trimukha Ganapati, Sivapooja Ganapati and Ardhanareeswara Ganapati in that order.
Popular singer LR Eswari will give a stage performance at Seethampeta junction on September 14 evening as part of the cultural programs being conducted by the management committee of Sri Durga Ganapati Aalayam in the city.
