Visakhapatnam, September 25 2005
The auction of 90 house sites at Kapulauppada layout has fetched VUDA an amount of Rs.16 crores. While it could sell 46 plots in the first phase auction conducted on September 16 in the range of Rs. 4100 to Rs. 6300 per square yard, the second and last phase held on Sunday saw the auctioning of 44 plots ranging from Rs. 4300 to Rs. 6700 per square yard. All the 44 sites, which were put up for sale, saw a heavy demand among the investors.
