The World Tourism Day which falls on September 27, 2005 will be celebrated this year with the theme ‘Travel and Transport from Immigration of Jules Verne to the Reality of the 21st Century. The hospitality sector is gearing up with new ideas to welcome the day on Tuesday. Welcom Hotel Grand Bay has planned several activities to mark the day. It will welcome guests with the traditional harati and serve Indian sweets to guests staying at the hotel. It is also extending a ten per cent discount on all guess ding at its restaurants.
