A National Conference of Mechanical Engineering Students is being organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Andhra University College of Engineering on Thursday and Friday.

A unique feature of MESCON is that it is being organized entirely by students under the guidance of their teachers according to conference chairman B.Satyanarayana and coordinator D.Nageswara Rao told media. Prof. Nageswararo said that the theme of the conference this year was ‘Evobot’, an evolutionary robot, designed with an ability to learn and adapt to the changing environment. He said that 170 technical papers had been received from various universities in the country, of which 71 would be presented at the conference. Organizing President M.Koteswararao, MESCON secretary DV Vijay and others spoke on the occasion.
