Workers of a diamond unit in the VSEZ on Friday urged the Chief Minister to intervene and find a solution to their 85 days old strike. Gajuwaka CITU leader G.Subba Rao and VEPZ Units’ Employees’ Union general secretary K.Sudhakar represented the problems and the attitude of the management to the Chief Minister during his transit halt at Visakhapatnam Airport.
According to Mr. Sudhakar, Commercial Taxes Minister Konathala Ramakrishna and Joint Collector Sandeep Kumar Sultania told the Chief Minister that the issue would be resolved within two days.
