Cadets from 16 National Cadet Corps directorates representing all the States of the country will participate in the All India Nau Sainik Camp 2005 to be held from Saturday to October 26. The AP NCC Directorate will host the event at Indian Navy’s Shipwright School. A total of 560 senior cadets, including 160 girls, of the Naval wing of the NCC will participate in the event. Cadets doing exceptionally well will participate in the Republic Day parade in New Delhi according to Group Commandant of NCC Group Headquarters AVS Ramesh told reporters on Thursday.

In keeping with the theme of ‘Bridges across the seas’, a contingent of five NCC cadets and an officer from Singapore would participate in the event. NCC Director General MC Bhandari and officiating Deputy DG of AP NCC Directorate P.Bhaskaran would attend the camp.
