Sri Nookambika Ammavari Devalayam was situated at Anakapalle in Visakhapatnam District (phone no:08924-226823) Sri Ammavaru in the golden ages is one of the Sakthi known as Sri Anughadevi and has a history of more than 450 years and presently known as Sri Sri Sri Nookambika Ammavaru and people from various parts of the State will visit the temple for seeking Her blessings.
This year Dasara Mahotsavams are being celebrated from October 4 to October 12 under the guidance of Konathala Ramakrishna, Minister of the Andhra Pradesh State.
The various programmes during the period are as under:
1. Dasara navaratrula Kumkumarchana (couples) Rs.516/- (For this seva the couples can participate in the daily pooja. Those who perform this seva, the Devalayam committee will give Ammavari Photo, Kanduva, Blouse piece, Kumama Bharina and Audio cassette.
2. Dasara navaratrula Kumkurchana (couples) Rs.116/- ( for this seva the couples can participate on any one day during the nine days celebrations.)
October 4, 2005: Tuesday Morning 9.45 pooja starts with Lord Vigneswara Pooja, Punyavachakam, Raksha Sutradharana, Deeksha Sankalapam, Kalasa Stapana, Agni Pratisha, Neerajana Mantra pushpam. Evening Veda parayana, Nitya Homam, Kumkumarchana etc.,
October 5, 2005: Wednesday Sahasra Kamalarchana, Nithya Japa Archanadulu etc.,
October 6, 2005: Thursday Morning Surya Namaskarams and evening Vunjili Seva
October 7, 2005: Friday Matrutrayaradhana (Gowri, Lakshmi and Saraswati) and Chandi Homam
October 8, 2005: Saturday Saraswati pooja
October 9, 2005: Sunday Sheerabhishekam
October 10, 2005: Monday Sahasra Deepalankara Seva
October 11, 2005: Tuesday Saptaprakara Seva
October 12, 2005: Wednesday Sami pooja
October 13, 2005: Thursday Poornahuti
