Election to recognize a single union of Andhra University employees will be conducted on the AU Campus on October 28. The Registrar of Andhra University P.Vijaya Prakash issued the election notification on Friday and requested the employees other than teaching staff, officers and hostel employees, the VC had agreed to accord recognition for a single union by conducting elections on a panel basis.
The schedule is that display of voters list October 19, filing of nominations October 22 and elections at TLN Sabha Hall on October 28 and the results will be declared on the same day.
