The youth wind of the World Telugu Federation (WTF) will organize Vizag Run on December 18. Former All England Badminton Champion Pullela Gopichand and film star Sai Kumar were present at the press conference on Monday and announced the details of the event. The very objective of the Vizag Run is to highlight the physical activity in our life style since people are becoming more mechanical and less active. Nearly 15000 are expected to participate in the Vizag Run.

Commissioner of Police VSK Kaumudi released the logo of the Vizag Run. He appreciated the organizers for organizing the program which would create a sense of togetherness. Municipal Commissioner N.Srikanth called the Vizag run a good concept and expected it to be a binding factor for Vizagities.

He assured that the Beach road would be made ready in all aspects well before the date. The DIG of Visakhapatnam Range N.Madan Mohan suggested introducing prize money and provide T shirts to all participants. Vice Chairman of VUDA G.Venkatram Reddy welcome some activity for people. WTF youth wing President Kavita Chetti said the objectives of the federation was promote Telugu tradition. It had launched programmes to educate people about Telugu customs.
