Visakhapatnam, November 12, 2005

Vigilance Awareness Week concluded on Friday with seminars, lecturers and competitions conducted during the week to mark the occasion. At the valedictory at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, District Sessions Judge N.Vidya Prasad called for a concerted fight against corruption. General Manager (vigilance) G.Venkatarao detailed the activities conducted during the week.

At Visakhapatnam Port Trust, a seminar was conducted on Corruption and its impact on society and public sector for Visakhapatnam Port Trust and Dock Labour Board officials. CBI superintendent of Police A.Sai Manohar was the chief guest.

At NTPC Simhadri, a customer meet was organized in which suppliers, contractors, vendors and senior officials of NTPC participated and at Airport, the week concluded with Vizag Range DIG Madan Mohan as the chief guest.
