VizagNews.com - Traditional dishes in a stall at Visakha Utsav

Visakhapatnam, November 26, 2005

A ‘Tastes of India’ stall will be set up in the Visakha Utsav scheduled to be held from December 22 to 25. People from Punjab, Maharastra, Orissa, Chattasgarh West Bengal, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka can sell their traditional dishes in the stall according to the VUDA Vice Chairman and Co Chairman of the Visakha Utsav 2005 G.Venkataram Reddy.

The objective of the program is to highlight how people from various parts of the country are living in the city in perfect harmony. A 20 x 20 ft food stall will be earmarked for them and it can be traditionally decorated and food items can be served wearing traditional attire.

Those intending to participate should submit their proposals to the Utsav Secretariat at the VUDA office. Good looking youth with a voice to match and proficiency in English, Telugu and Hindi may volunteer to anchor the programs. Those interested may contact on phone 5556634 for further details.
