The Endowments Department advised the Sri Kanakamahalakshmi Devasthanam to send proposals for acquisition of land and houses, which came in the way of the temple’s progress. The Additional Commissioner of Endowments Department, G.Krishnamurthy suggested this at a review meeting of the temple on Wednesday to provide better facilities for pilgrims.

The meeting discussed the rituals followed at the temple, amenities to devotees, sale of prasadam, annadanam policy and properties of the temple.

Executive Officer S.Kondala Rao detailed the activities of the devasthanam. Executive Officer of Simhachalam temple V.Sankara Reddy and other officials participated in the meeting.
