The Experts team constituted by the Union Ministry of Human Resources Development to study the granting of IIT status to the Andhra University College of Engineering on Monday visited the GITAM College of Engineering. Panel Chairman M.Anand Krishnan and Former Director of IIT Khargapur Amitabh Ghosh addressed the staff of GITAM Institutions.
He said that due to globalization of education, foreigners were taking maximum advantage with zero investment.
Prof. Krishnan said that they gave second level of education and the Indian students went abroad and received the same level of education except for a couple of universities.
