The 80th Birthday Clebrations of Bhagavan Sri Satya Sai Baba in the city are marked by free distribution of food, clothes and fruits in all rehabilitation centres, hospital and old age homes. Organizers of Sri Satya Sai Seva Organizations in the district and Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samiti are through week long celebrations which began on Saturday at the Sathya Sai Prema Sadan in MVP colony in the city.

All the 15 Samithis in the district with an affiliation of 300 bhajan mandals and bhajan centres, and about 6000 seva dal volunteers in the city and an equal number in the district are participating in the celebrations.
