The setting up of several software units in the city is expected to create a minimum of 12000 jobs in the next three years according to the Officer on Special Duty of APIIC ltd., K.Ratnaprabha. Describing Tuesday as a 'red letter day' in Visakhapatnam's history because of the arrival of the much awaited IT industry, she said on Monday that Satyam Computers investing Rs.150 crores in the software centre alone would provide jobs to five thousand.
