Visakhapatnam, May 1, 2005

May Day was celebrated by several trade unions in the city on Sunday. The recognized union in Municipal Corporation of Visakhapatnam, VMC Staff and Workers Union which is affiliated to the TNTUC organized a meeting at the union office. At the celebrations by Visakhapatnam Harbor and Port Workers Union affiliated to AITUC, president of the union VV Rama Rao said the AITUC was striving to safeguard the interests of working class and public sector.
