The AP Mechanized Fishing Boat Operators Association will celebrate the annual Gangamma festival at the Ganga Devi temple on the fishing Harbour premises on a grand scale on Monday and Tuesday.
According to the General Secretary of the Association, elaborate arrangements were made for the festival as a thanks giving to the goddess since there was no causality in the tsunami strike.
The annual jaatara of 462 year old Sri Kanaka Mahalakshi temple in China Waltair will be conducted on Tuesday according to the temple trust board chairman.
