Members of the Slum Dwellers’ Welfare Association, Jagruthi Mahila Sangham and Dalit Vimukthi gheraoed the District Collector, Praveen Prakash on their pending issues at the Collectorate on Monday during ‘Spandana’ programme.
The organizations, which were staging dharnas continuously for the past two weeks and were disappointed that the Collector was not regularly present during ‘Spandana’ programme to look into public grievances on Mondays swarmed him when he appeared and asked him to look into the issue.
