Award instituted by the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India

The Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has bagged the National Merit Award for Excellence in Cost Management 2004. VSP has won the award instituted by the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India for effective implementation of cost and management accounting tools, optimum utilization of resources and production and quality management. The Union Minister for Company Affairs, Prem Chand Gupta formally presented the Award to Visakhapatnam Steel Plant at a function in New Delhi.
