Gang of rowdies hit on the back of his head by an iron rod

A videographer of a local electronic news channel was grievously hurt when he was allegedly attacked while shooting an incident of some poor families being evicted by a gang of rowdies in the city on Tuesday. The journalist MS Sekhar of Sri Devi Vision was hit on the back of his head by an iron rod, as he was video graphing the incident HB Colony. A profusely bleeding journalist was rushed to a corporate hospital while he is being treated. The Commissioner of Police VSK Kaaumudiand other police officers visited Mr.Sekhar at the Hospital. The Vizag Journalist Forum, the Journalists Association of AP and AP Union of Working journalists condemned the attack.
