District collector held a meeting with the officials
Twenty-four persons who were allegedly involved in attacks between some pseudo beneficiaries and villagers of Gangavaram and Dibbapalem on Monday were arrested on Wednesday and sent to remand. While 17 of them were from Gangavaram and the rest are from Venkannapalem. The situation, which was tense on Tuesday, remained peaceful. The Joint Collector, Sandeep Kumar Sultania held an all-party meeting to know the demands of the fishermen. The district collector held a meeting with the officials at Gajuwaka on Tuesday night.
