The city police bust an oil racket on Wednesday by arresting ten persons and seized from their possession two tankers containing 63 tonnes of low sulpher high stock furnace oil worth nearly Rs.17 lakhs.
The racket was going on for nearly a decade with the main accused Venkateswara Rao running it from his godown located between the HPCL refinery and Malakapuram police station. On a tip off, Malakapuram police nabbed the culprits.
