The Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority will receive applications for allotment of vacant housing units and shops for allotment of vacant housing units and shops for commercial and office accommodation purposes in the city. Three HIG each 1400 sft Rs.12.77 and 24 MIG each 966 sft Rs.8.665 lakhs flats are ready for allotment at Marripalem Housing Scheme.

Two LIG units that cost Rs.3.47 lakhs each in Vepagunta and one LIG house in Chinamushidiwada with an extent of 111.11 sq.yds and priced R.3.4 lakshs are also available according to a VUDA spokesman. VUDA will organize 'Meet the Vice Chairman' programme every Monday from 10am to 2pm beginning from June 20 to attend to and redress public grievances expeditiously.
