Visakhapatnam, June 27, 2005
The Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) will set up the land bank with details of lands available and their utilization. Speaking to press on Monday, the Vice Chairman of VUDA said the Chief Minister in his recent meetings with all urban development authorities had ordered the Government lands available within UDA jurisdiction be handed over to the UDA concerned for taking up development activities. He said that the estimates were being prepared for the Beach Road widening project and VUDA and the R&B department would do the roadwork.
