A new formulation containing Paracetamol and Sodium Bi Carbonate is being used worldwide for effective management of pain and fever according to a physician S.Jayaram.

Dr.Jayaram of Mumabai’s J.J.Hospital said on Saturday during talk on fevers and urged the doctors to prescribe medicines cautiously in view of the questionable safety profile of some commonly used drugs. He said fever was self limiting and could be controlled in five to seven days by using antibiotics but it would turn serious if not treated in time.
