The Mahila Vikasa Samstha conducted a HIV/AIDS awareness programme, Nagara Sabhalu under the statewide run ‘Aasha’ programme at Venkateswara Metta on Tuesday. R.Srinivasa Rao, medical officer of Bheemnagar dispensary spoke on various aspects of the pandemic.

He urged the participants not to discard the affected ones.

It may be recalled, India is one of the South Asian countries to be reporting on increasing cases related to AIDS.
