The regional wing of Joint Action Committee of the APSRTC Trade Unions condemned the act of running private buses with the help of untrained crew, endangering the safety of passengers.
The JAC regretted the inconvenience caused to the people due to the strike, but the employees were forced to launch the strike to protect the public sector undertaking according to its leaders in a press release.
In view of the strike, the railways would be running a special train to Hyderabad according to a release from the East Coast Railway.
