According to the AP Revenue services and four other organizations said, that the staff involved in the programme to control fever and diseases in the agency area alone have been exempted from participating in the agitation against the District Collector from Wednesday.
The APSRSA, The MPDOs Association, the Panchayat Raj Secretaries Association, the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Ministerial Staff Association and the Extension Officers of the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Association are intensifying their agitation demanding the transfer of the District Collector by boycotting work related to the distribution of new ration cards and pattas and land acquisition for irrigation projects.
They are also launching a relay hunger strike from Wednesday. This was in accordance with the decision taken by the State Executive committees of the organizations at Hyderabad according to the secretary and president of APRSA said at a press conference on Tuesday.
