Godavari water from Kateru near Rajahmundry flows into Yeluru canal

The Visakhapatnam Steel Plant finally overcame its water crisis which almost threatened it production. Godavari Waters began reaching the Steel Plant from Kanithi Balancing Reservoir form Saturday.

The Godavari water from Kateru near Rajahmundry flows into Yeluru canal and from there to Kanithi balancing Reservoir. The Steel Plant recently faced a severe crisis due to the water crisis. The Minister for Commercial Taxes, Konatala Ramakrishna speaking to reports that 60mgd water was being pumped into the Yeleru canal but it was drying up. But the Steel Plant would not face any problem in future.
