Inspected various units like coke ovens, blast furnaces and steel melting shop
The committee for awarding the Prime Minister's Trophy in the steel sector, on the second day of its visit to Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, inspected various units like coke ovens, blast furnaces and steel melting shop. According the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant release said on Tuesday that the panel comprising the former Union Secretary RK Dang, the former Chairman of Steel Authority of India Ltd., SR Jain, the Director of Jindal Vijayanagar Steel Limited SK Gupta and others was accompanied by the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant Y.Siva Sagar Rao and other senior officials. The members had discussions with the members of the Women in Public Sector, Steel Executives Association and employees unions at the main conference hall.
