GBP deposits rates have been increased
The Union Bank of India has increased the Term Deposit interest rates on US Dollar, Pound, and Euro Foreign Currency Non-Resident and Rupee Non Resident External term deposits with effect from Friday. The Bank release says the rates for USD deposits for one to two years, two to three years and three years have been revised to 2.85%, 3.2% and 3.43% respectively.GBP deposits rates have been increased from 4.65 per cent to 4.68 percent, 4.57 per cent to 4.61 per cent and 4.58 percent to 4.62 per cent.
Rates on Euro deposits are up form 2.05 per cent to 2.1 percent and 2.29% to 2.38% and 2.52% TO 2.58%. Interest rates on NRE term deposits for to three years and two to three years a maturity are upto 3.6% and 3.95% and for three years and above it has revised from 4.2% to 4.18%.
