Pilot noticed smoke emanating from its engine

A naval helicopter, which was on a night flying mission force landed close to the NTPC Simhadri Thermal Power plant at Palavalasa at around seven in the evening on Monday. The pilot noticed smoke emanating from its engine and brought the helicopter safely to the ground. The pilot and co pilot are safe and there is no damage to the copter.
