VMC completed the filtration plants and other works

The system to supply drinking water from the Godavari to the city was ready and it would be commissioned next month once the VMC completed the filtration plants and other works according to the Minister for Commercial Taxes, Konatala Ramakrishna on Saturday.

He said that the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant was already getting the water that would reach the city in the month of March. The VMC has released a report stating that ninety percent of the works such as the filtration plant at Narava, laying of pipeline at other points was to be completed.
