Cases were booked against half a dozen shops

Officials from Bureau of Indian Standards conducted raids on plywood and plush door shops in Shankaramatham and other areas in the city on Monday and cases were booked against half a dozen shops for selling products with fake ISI mark. The Director N.Krishna Murty of BIS said that those found guilty could be jailed for six months to one year with a penalty of Rs 15,000/-.
