Visakhapatnam, December 5, 2005

Coromandel Fertilizers Limited on Monday organized a one-day awareness workshop on the role and responsibilities of contractors. Nearly 60 contractors and their supervisors participated. Presiding over the workshop, General Manager (manufacturing) of Coromandel Fertilizers Limited N.Seetharam said that it was committed to achieving the best safety culture and systems since its inception by involving all levels of employees.

Joint Chief Inspector of Factories GSN Raju inaugurated the workshop. He emphasized the need for training and close supervision of the work in industries, called for increased role on the part of the contractors in eliminating unsafe practices, and narrated some examples.
