Central Crime Station police in a raid on Friday morning arrested nine persons allegedly issuing fake insurance certificates for registration of motor vehicles. The arrested were operating from near the RTA's office at Madhavadhara acting as RTA agents. T.Mohan Rao, SI BVSSR Murty and his team conducted the raid following instructions from the Commissioner VSK Kaumudi.

According to Additional Deputy Commissioner AV Subba Rao, 12 fake rubber stamps, 108 fake insurance certificates, a Photostat machine, colour scanner etc., were seized in the raid. One accused is at large and the police are investigating the case.
