District Collector asks all committees to complete their works

The District Collector, Praveen Prakash on Tuesday said that all the committees should complete the tasks assigned to them in time for the successful conduct of Visakha Utsav from January 8 to 12. It may be recalled that the Visakha Utsav has been postponed due to works like widening of roads etc., are not completed.

He wanted the festival mood to be created by organizing competitions in the mandals during the un up to the utsav and asked the District Educational Officer Surender Reddy to concentrate on it. A stall representing the district would be set up at Kalachakra celebrations at Amaravati he said.
