AIDWA opposes move to hike LPG price

The city committee of All India Democratic Womens Association has opposed the move to increase the price of LPG and Kerosene.

It may be recalled that the price of LPG would be hiked by Rs.100 in the next few months. People below the poverty line will have to pay Rs. 1 more for a liter of Kerosene while others have to pay Rs.6 more.

The burden caused by the hike would further aggravate the hardship of people already struggling to make both ends meet because of the abnormal rise in prices said the AIDWA president AV Padmavathi.
