The Indian National Trade Union Congress will serve a notice on the UPA Government soon demanding constitution of VI Pay Commission. A decision to this effect was taken at the central working committee meeting of the organization recently in Udaipur. INTUC central working committee member KS Mohan Kumar told reporters on Thursday that they would be constrained to go on strike in January or February 2006 if the UPA Government did not concede their demand. Dr. Kumar said that all workers engaged under contract labor in non production side and doing the miscellaneous works should be paid wages and DA on par with other permanent workers.
