The Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited has introduced an interactive voice response system at its Electricity Call Centre recently with 1912. Subscribers of BSNL, Tata Indicom and Hutch may dial for information and enquiries and also to lodge fuse off and other supply related complaints and billing dates. Calls can be made from mobile, landline and wireless phones. Tata Indicom landline and wireless and mobile users have to dial 1912 and BSNL and Hutch users have to ring up 08911912.
