Constables on duty spoke in an insulting manner
An altercation between a ZPTC of Visakhapatnam Zilla Parishad and the police on duty at the ACA-VDCA Stadium on Tuesday marred the otherwise well conducted one day cricket international between Pakistan and India.
The ZPTC of Kotapadu, Nani went out of the stadium with two Congress leaders to see off the family members of the Minister for Commercial Taxes, Konathala Ramakrishna. As they were re entering the stadium, one of the constables on duty spoke to him in an insulting manner.
A Congress leader Kondala rao who re entered the stadium with Mr.Nani reported the incident to the Paravada MLA Gandi Babji on the cell phone. Babji came out of the AVIP box and lodged a strong protest with Mr.Madhavarao who maintained that Nani should not have behaved in a rude manner with the police, while Babji counteracted the same.
