Visakhapatnam, April 25, 2005
The Special Police investigating into the burglary of State Bank of India, Dondaparthy Branch confirmed the involvement of some of the bank employees in the operation.
Sources said that the CLUES team recovered 87 bags which were emptied by the burglars. One of the two keys of the strong room was taken from the chambers of an assistant manager itself indicated that an insider was involved in the incident.
Police sources said that they are inquiring into lavish lifestyle of some of the employees working at the Branch.
