The Registrar's Office of Andhra University has been renamed the Central Administrative Office. The main administrative building of the university in which the chambers of the VC and the Registrar are located has been popularly known as the Registrar's Office for the last many decades though the building has its own name Cattamanchi Ramalinga Reddy Vihara-after one of the university's illustrious former VCs. On Tuesday, the VC Simhadri formally renamed the Registrar's office at a simple function in the presence of the Registrar M.S.Prasadarao and the deans of various departments.
