The Watch Tower is yet another important monument of yesteryears. It was used by the Cadets to keep at a watch at the sea. It was covered with a highly polished glass to give good focus to the sea so that ships can locate the shore. This Tower is used till 1870.
The Light House that we know today was constructed on Dolphin Nose at a height of 174 kms from the sea level. |
